The Songs

All songs of IWASHERE tells its own unique story.

Our aim is to bridge worlds with the power of sound waves.

The songs are a result of crossing borders, sharing experiences, friendship, respect and love.

Over the years we have met so many strong, humble and powerful humans who all bring an unique and inspiring light into this world.

We are honoured and proud to finally present our songs and the stories behind. Thank you for the trust, friendship and precious memories. Some of the essence of all this, magically managed to materialise, and here it is

Brigding Worlds

- one song at a time

VOLUME 1

Seven years has gone since some great friends started to introduced us to different native nations, and probably "Bridging worlds - one song at a time" started already back then. Respect, thoughts, meals and music has been shared and strong friendships has evolved. Dreams and energies has materialised and transformed into sound waves that forever will be present in the memory of time.

In September of 2019 the jingle dress dancer and story teller from the Umatilla people of Oregon (US), Acosia Red Elk, visited us in Norway and together we had our very first live appearance. The world has changed since then, but we have not been resting. The 2nd of November 2020 we released our first song of Iwashere with a video featuring Acosia, and we`ll keep on releasing songs every month for a year. Our first song will be "The Buffalos of Ed Iron Cloud" and with that we´ll launch "Bridging Worlds - one song at a time". We look forward to share this story and soundscapes with you!

Feathers

WE ARE ALL FRAGILE BEINGS,

BUT ARMED WITH ENORMOUS POWER

TO CONTROL OUR ENERGIES.

NO BORDERS SHOULD EVER DEFINE

HOW WE ACT

OR SPEAK TO EACH OTHER.

NO BORDERS SHOULD EVER DEFINE

WHO WE ARE

AS A PERSON.

THE BLOOD THAT RUNS THROUGH OUR VEINS

HAS CROSSED SO MANY TIMELINES,

SO MANY CONTINENTS.

THE WAY WE COMMUNICATE,

AND TREAT EACH OTHER,

MEANS EVERYTHING.

HOW WE SPEAK TO ONE ANOTHER

TELLLS A LOT ABOUT

WHO WE ARE.

WE WOULD NOT HAVE HAD THE SAME RICH IDENTITY WITHOUT US ALL

CROSSING EACH OTHERS PATHS.
